The British royals, Prince William and Kate Middleton have arrived Lahore on one-day visit.
According to details, The couple was welcomed by Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar under high security.
Sources said that the couple is scheduled to visit SOS village, National Cricket Academy, Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Badshahi Mosque in Lahore.
More than six thousand security personnel have been deployed on the routes of Airport, Governor House, SOS village, National Cricket Academy, Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Badshahi Mosque.
British Royal couple will be welcomed by Chairman PCB Ahsan Mani and Chief Executive at the National Cricket Academy, where Prince William and Kate Middleton will watch friendly cricket match of British High Commission.
After visiting Allama Iqbal’s tomb in Lahore, the couple will also attend a conference on ‘Religious Tolerance’, which is organized at Badshahi Mosque.
Prince William and Kate Middleton will distribute presents in National Cricket Academy. However, the event will be attended by Waqar Yunus, Azhar Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali.
Urooj Mumtaz and Sana Mir will be representing the women cricketers in the ceremony. The duke and duchess of Cambridge will interact with the cricketers.
Couple will be accompanied by their personal security. Whereas, Elite force will be a part of the royal security squad.

According to details, the royal couple arrived in Chitral after sightseeing the mesmerizing view of Hindu Kush via helicopter.
The couple was gifted traditional caps and shawl on their arrival.
