A federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held in Islamabad today (Tuesday).

According to the details, the meeting will review the political, economic situation of the country, the opposition’s Azadi March will also be discussed and major decisions are likely to be taken in this regard.

The Federal cabinet meeting issued 13-point agenda; CEOs in ministries, MDs will be briefed on vacant posts; case for multi-storey buildings in Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Peshawar will be considered, sources said.

The issue of amendments to the Civil Aviation Rules 1994 will also be discussed.

The meeting will approve transfer of information division from Federal Government Artist Fund Cabinet Division; NEC approval as Member of Economic Affairs will also be approved.

Along with this, the Islamabad Healthcare Facilities Management Act 2019 is going to be approved. The Board of Directors of Sui Northern Gas Company Limited will be re-approved.

According to sources, it should be noted that Pervez Khattak has prepared the report of the talks with the leadership committee. The points of the contract must be followed.

The report of Pervez Khattak also points out that the government has not obstructed the freedom march till now.
