
Kalat: Commissioner Makran killed in a road accident

Commissioner Makran Tariq Zahri was among four persons killed in a road accident near Kalat, a district in Baluchistan province, on late Thursday night.
According to details, Commissioner Makran Tariq Zahri along his gunman and driver was going to Turbat from Quetta when his vehicle collided with a car, loaded with smuggled Iranian petrol, near Kalat.
Both the vehicles caught fire after the accident due to which Tariq Zahri his driver and gunman and the driver of the other vehicle died on the spot.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to District Headquarters Hospital, Kalat.
The identity of the deceased was made after the bodies shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Mohammed Hamza Shafqat disclosed on Twitter about the tragic accident in Kalat, saying that Tariq Zahri was an intelligent police officer and a very sophisticated man.

Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Lango also expressed deep grief over the incident and said that the martyrdom of Commissioner Makran has caused great loss to the province.
He also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased.
