An accountability court on Wednesday extended the judicial remand of Maryam Nawaz until October 25.

The National Accountability Bureau officials presented Maryam and her cousin Yousuf Abbas, who is co-accused in the case, before the court on Wednesday as their previous judicial remand was expired today.

The accountability judge extended their remand until October 25.

Ahsan Iqbal, Pervaiz Rasheed, Mariyum Aurangzaib and other Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leaders and workers were present inside the court premises.

During the last hearing, Accountability Judge Jawwad-ul-Hasan Chaudhry expressed displeasure over people taking selfies with Maryam Nawaz inside the courtroom. He ordered everyone to switch off their phones.

Earlier in a day, a Services Hospital’s medical board expressed satisfaction over rehabilitation as Sharif’s platelets crossed 29,000 level.

The hospital was tasked to examine Nawaz Sharif’s health and provide him necessary medical care

Reportedly, doctors have transfused four mega units of platelets into Nawaz Sharif.

In an important development by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the party’s member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Salma Saadia Taimoor today submitted a resolution in the provincial assembly, seeking release of detained Maryam Nawaz on parole so that she could inquire about health condition of her father.
