
Nawaz Sharif’s condition is improving, Dr Yasmin Rashid

Lahore: Health Minister of Punjab and a leader of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf Dr Yasmin Rashid said, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s condition is improving.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore with Dr. Tahir Shamsi, Dr. Yasmin Rashid said, Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) was diagnosed to Nawaz Sharif However, Nawaz Sharif’s condition is improving due to treatment.
She informed, Nawaz Sharif’s platelets are increased to 45 thousands now and his bone marrow is also working well.
Nawaz Sharif received cardiac enzymes which caused him to have a minor heart attack However, he did not have a major problem with the attack, she said
Nawaz Sharif’s recent ECG reports are better, Dr Yasmin said
The reports also discussed with his personal physician, she added
We never said that Nawaz Sharif’s condition is good, Dr Yasmin stated
During a presser Dr Tahir Shamsi said, Nawaz Sharis has acute ITP and ITP causes illness.
Dr. Tahir Shamsi expressed a hope that in the next 7 to 10 days the platelets of Nawaz Sharif will increase to 100 thousands.
Earlier on today the Islamabad High Court (IHC) held an early hearing on a petition seeking the disposition of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s sentence on medical grounds.
