Nawaz Sharif’s petition for Al-Azizia reference hearing fixed in IHC
The hearing of Nawaz Sharif’s plea against his conviction in the Al-Azizia reference has been fixed by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
According to details, The registrar’s office of IHC issued the same date, October 29, for the hearing of National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) appeal for an extension of the former prime minister’s sentence.
Nawaz Sharif challenged the Supreme Court’s decision in the case regarding a secretly filmed video of former accountability court judge Arshad Malik, who convicted the Nawaz Sharif in the Al-Azizia corruption reference.
The Islamabad High Court will hear the narrative of second party on October 29.

Al-Azizia Reference Case:
Nawaz Sharif was convicted by an accountability court on December 24 and sentenced to seven years in jail and a massive fine of $25 million.
