Prime Minister Imran Khan arrives Karachi on a day-long visit here on Monday.
The leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) will also meet PM Imran Khan.
GDA’s Moazzam Abbasi, who recently defeated Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate in Larkana by-election, will also attend a meeting with the premier.
Imran Khan will be briefed about ongoing development projects in the city funded by federal government. This will be PM’s fourth visit to Karachi.
A delegation of urban transport company will also call on the Prime Minister to discuss transport issues of Karachi.
A session will be summoned by PM Khan to make consultations over the issues of the port city.
The PM will also meet the business community during his visit.
He will also inaugurate a 1320 MW power plant in Gadani, a power station built with the cooperation of China.
According to the schedule issued, PM Imran will arrive in Karachi on a one-day visit.
A copy of the schedule was also sent to the Chief Minister’s House but no meeting of the Sindh government representatives including the Chief Minister is scheduled yet.
Murtaza Wahab has also confirmed that Sindh’s Chief Minister was not invited to the Prime Minister’s visit to Karachi.
PM Imran is trying to solve the problems faced by Karachi.
Earlier, he had also formed a high level committee headed by Law Minister Farogh Naseem on Karachi issues.
