Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad here on Monday.

According to the details, he informed the cabinet about his recent Iran and soon to be Saudi Arabia’s visit.

The federal cabinet focused on the 15-point agenda and issues of political and economic situations of Pakistan were also discussed.

Imran Khan briefed the cabinet about his Islamabad master plan, ‘Real State Ordinance’ is also included in cabinet’s agenda.

Moreover, the transfer and posting of MD National Fertilizers Marketing Limited, the deployment of board members of Security and exchange policy and matter of Islamabad Build Transfusion Authority Employees Service Regulation 2019 were also focused in the meeting.

During the federal cabinet meeting, the approval has given regarding the deployment of Chairman Pakistan Council for Research in Water.

Illegal production and smuggling of tobacco policy were discussed.

The cabinet gave a briefing regarding Islamabad’s new master plan and the meeting  also reviewed the implementation of public interest projects.

Earlier, PM Imran Khan reached Pakistan after his successful one-day visit to Iran.

According to the details, PM Imran Khan was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari on his return.

A day earlier, while addressing a press conference along with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, PM said that Pakistan aims at reducing tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia as Pakistan does not want any other conflict in the region.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, after his visit to Iran will fly to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, sources said.
