Ailing Nawaz Sharif reaches Park Lane flats
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived at Park Lane Flats in London.
According to details, the treatment of the former prime minister will be at home while Shahbaz Sharif, personal physician Dr. Adnan and two employees will be present with him.
Nawaz Sharif’s personal physician Dr. Adnan and two employees have arrived with him at Park Lane Flats.
Earlier, Adnan posted on Twitter that Nawaz Sharif has arrived in London, his aircraft has landed on Heathrow Airport.
Sources said that Nawaz, from the airport’s gate, left to Park Lane Flats despite of not being treated to the hospital.
Prior to departure, all necessary tests were done by Nawaz Sharif, after which the doctors gave clearance for takeoff.
On the departure of the former Prime Minister, strict security arrangements were made at the airport, Nawaz Sharif reached the Haj terminal of Allama Iqbal Airport, Maryam Nawaz and other family members arrived at the Hajj terminal along with Nawaz Sharif.
The deposed prime minister was sentenced to seven years in prison on corruption charges in December last year. He was granted bail last month on medical grounds.
PML-N chief denies all charges of corruption against him. He was granted bail by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on humanitarian grounds earlier this month.
