COAS calls on Commander Turkish Armed Forces

The Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has met with Commander Turkish Armed Forces (CGS) General Yasar Guler.

According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), both the dignitaries have discussed the issues of regional security environment and steps to further enhance bilateral defense cooperation.

General Yasar Guler appreciated the role of Pakistan Army for peace and stability in the region.

Earlier this month, COAS called on Deputy Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia.

ISPR had said that during the meeting views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest including defense and security cooperation between both the countries.

Both the officials discussed the bilateral issue and mutual cooperation in defense and security.
The military’s media wing also stated, the meeting also discussed the overall security situation in the region.
