ECL case: LHC accepts Nawaz Sharif’s plea for traveling abroad
Lahore High Court accepts the petition filed by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to remove his name from Exit Control List (ECL)
According to the details, Lahore High Court has asks Federal Government and The Sharif’s for further hearing on Saturday, November 16.
Federal Government had asked Nawaz Sharif to fill an indemnity bond for the removal of Nawaz Sharif’s name from ECL.
Earlier, the reply submitted by the federal government stated that the Lahore High Court had no authority to hear the petition while Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer took the stand that the court had full authority to hear the case.
Earlier, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s ticket to London has been canceled today due to delay in excluding his name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
According to details, Both the National Accountability Bureau and the Ministry of Interior could not arrive at a decision regarding the removal Nawaz’s name from the ECL.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) had approved Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s bail petition on medical grounds.
Two-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi conducted the hearing and the bail is approved against two surety bonds worth Rs 10 million.
