FIR registered against Ali Haider Gilani

Ali Haider Gilani, son of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and member provincial assembly, has been booked for interference in the affairs of a subsidiary government.

According to the details, leader PPP and member Punjab Assembly Ali Haider Gilani reacted strongly to the FIR registered against him and said that it is clear in the video that Punjab police are blocking the way for me and the public.

Ali Haider Gilani had announced that I would go against the Punjab police’s illegal FIR as much as possible.

Ali Haider Gilani said Imran Khan had said that he would set up non-political police but Imran Khan’s non-political police has been a defendant in the cases against the jihadists in Punjab.

Ali Haider Gilani also said that the policemen blocked the path of an elected member of the Punjab Assembly, and an FIR was registered against me to protect myself from the illegal process of blocking the route.

Ali Haider Gilani said that Punjab Police played a vicious role in keeping the people away from the gathering, while thousands of people were also stopped by the Punjab Police.

PPP member Punjab Assembly Ali Haider Gilani further said that the Punjab police made every effort to thwart our meeting in Muzaffargarh while the police personnel misled the attendees.

On the other hand, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned the FIR’s registration against Ali Haider Gilani and others, demanding immediate withdrawal of FIR.

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in a statement that the route of the Muzaffargarh rally participants was blocked and the police registered a case against them.

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said that the PTI government should stop political interference in the police as political victimization could not weaken our zeal.
