The Islamabad High Court has halted special court to deliver its judgment in high treason case against Musharraf on Nov 28.

According to details, a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah and comprising Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani conducted proceedings on the petitions.

The special court in a November 19 decision had reserved the verdict in the case, which was scheduled to be announced on November 28.

The IHC was hearing petitions filed by former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government to postpone the announcement of the judgement.

In the previous hearing, the court had summoned Attorney General for assistance on the matter and also directed the authorities to submit summary regarding formation of trial court to hear the treason case.
