Karachi: 2 dead bodies recovered from KDA flats Shadman Town

Two dead bodies and two injured were found from KDA flats in Shadman Town area of ​​Karachi.

According to the details, the deceased and the injured are from the same family.

Hospital authorities stated that, the deceased included 40-year-old Kashif and 8-year-old Zainab, the deceased were father and daughter, while the injured included 35-year-old mother Sofia and 10-year-old Ayan.

According to police, the bodies and the injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Initial investigations revealed that a man named Kashif brutally attacked his wife and children with a hammer and jumped from the building and committed suicide. Police have indicated that the cause of the killings was a domestic dispute, which left Kashif’s wife and son in critical condition.

Surgeon Dr Saleem said that Kashif’s body has completed fractured and head bone was broken.

Police said that initially the murder and suicide seem to have happened due to family dispute, a man named Kashif injured his wife and children with something heavy and then jumped from the building and committed suicide.

Police added that the investigation is still underway.
