Naval Chief meets Qatar’s PM, discuss ways to boost military ties
Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan Navy, Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi pays an official visit to Qatar here on Wednesday (today).
According to Pak-Navy’s spokesperson, the Naval Chief has called on Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani.
Naval Chief also held separate meetings with Qatar’s Armed Forces Chief of Staff and Commander Qatar Naval Forces, Pak-Navy’s spokesperson said.
Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi received a guard of honor at his arrival to Qatar airbase.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest.
Qatar and Pakistan discussed ways to boost bilateral military relations among them.
According to the details, The Naval Chief has also visited maritime welfare training center and academy.
Afterwards, Chief of Naval Staff visits the Al-Jazeera Media Network in Qatar and talks informally with other journalists, including the Executive Director.
Naval Chief also highlighted the occupation in Indian Occupied Kashmir and how Pakistan stands for Kashmir at every cause.
According to Pak-Navy’s spokesperson, the visit of the Naval Chief to Qatar will further enhance relations between the two countries.
