Prime Minister Imran Khan has said the opposition parties are holding the protest march in Islamabad to protect the amount they plundered over the years.

Addressing a public gathering in Gilgit on Friday, he said that the opposition is resorting to blackmailing and pressure tactics.

He however made it categorically clear that they will not be given any NRO.

Imran Khan said those who plundered the national exchequer which severely hurt the country’s economy will have to face accountability.

He said half of the total tax collected last year was paid in payment of the interest on loans taken by previous governments.

The Prime Minister regretted that the name of religion is used in politics to make money.

He however said this is Naya Pakistan and gone are the days when the name of Islam was used to come to the power as the people now fully understands the motives of such elements.

Imran Khan said the political orphans may sit in the capital as long as they want.

PM said that our enemies are very happy over the protest march of JUI (F).

The Indian media is so happy that it is giving coverage to Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Earlier, Imran Khan addressed Azadi Parade on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day of Gilgit, in Gilgit.

The premier said that the people of Gilgit had defeated Dogra rule in 1947 by bravely fighting a war to conquer their land.

The ancestors also freed Skardu and Baltistan in 1948.

We claim that there is no God but Allah and we only bow down and prostrating to Him due to our firm faith, he added.

The PM said that Pakistan is special gift from Allah to its people and that it was the first country that was carved out in the name of Islam.

Implementation of justice like will bring Almighty’s blessings and make Pakistan an example for others, he asserted.

Talking about the sufferings of the Kashmiri peoples, the premier said that Narendra Modi-led Indian government has stripped occupied valley of its human rights by continuing curfew and millions of people have been confined to their homes by nine hundred thousand Indian troops.

PM Imran said that no force can stop the Kashmiri people to get freedom from the cruel clutches of India.

He said the oppressive regime of Modi has imposed a cruel curfew in occupied Kashmir over the last three months and millions of people have been confined to their homes.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan will be uplifted as per the principles of State of Madina. He said Pakistan is a great gift of God and it is the first country which was carved out in the name of Islam.

PM said we will make this country a glorious example for the world by following the principles of state of Madina.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the country has been opened for tourism.

Visa for the citizens of seventy countries have been abolished and they can get the visa on arrival at the airports.

Alluding to the immense beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan, the PM was confident that now more tourists will be visiting the region which will bring prosperity and ensure a brighter future for its people.
