PM Imran mourns death of his dearest friend

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday has expressed deep grief over the death of his dearest friend Ashiq Qureshi.

PM Imran in a post on Twitter said that Ashiq Qureshi was always with me during the difficult times of my life, he was the founder member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

He wrote, “Devastated by the death of one of my oldest friends Ashiq Qureshi last night. He was always there during my many setbacks in life. Was the first to stand by me when I decided to build SKMT & was a PTI founder member. Above all, he will be missed as a gentleman & great human being.”

Imran Khan added that Ashiq Qureshi was the first person to stand with me when I decided to build Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, he will always be remembered as a gentle and a great man.
