During the visit of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan to Lahore, the Punjab cabinet is expected to change in 10 ministries.
According to the details, the possibility of the inclusion of three women ministers in the Punjab cabinet and the ministers who have demonstrated poor performance could be withdrawn.
According to sources, Aleem Khan will be re-inducted in the cabinet and the possibility of giving important ministry is also shown.
In addition, the provincial minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan will also be given the important responsibility.
Secondary Health Ministry may be withdrawn from Dr. Yasmin Rashid. Information and culture ministries can also be separated, sources told.
Besides, two separate ministers may also be appointed on the Punjab Cabinet’s sports and tourism.
Sources said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan will give final approval to the uproar in the Punjab cabinet and further changes will be given to the bureaucracy with the modification of the ministerial team.
New Chief Secretary and IG Punjab have been given full authority to form their own teams, sources further informed.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan met Chief Minister (CM) Usman Bazdar in which CM Punjab briefed the Prime Minister on the performance of cabinet members.
This is the third time Prime Minister Imran Khan has met CM Punjab this week.
Earlier, the Prime Minister held two meetings in two days with Usman Bazdar in Islamabad in which he expressed dissatisfaction over the administrative structure of Punjab.
