Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
According to details Prime Minister Imran Khan met Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa today in which important decisions were made after which Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza as the new Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

Qamar Javed Bajwa’s term extension notification has already been issued on 19 August of this year.
The new chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Nadeem Raza holds a brilliant military career.
General Nadeem Raza receives commission in the infantry 10th Sindh Regiment of the Pakistan Army on September 1985.
Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza has also served as a Corps Commander Rawalpindi and Commandant of Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.
Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza has also received Hilal-e-Imtiaz Military.
It may be recalled that General Zubair Mahmood Hayat took over a charge as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff on November 28, 2016 and earlier before him General Rashid Mahmood was appointed as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
General Nadeem Raza completed the Infantry Command Course from Germany in 1994 and has commissioned an Infantry Brigade. Gen.
He served as the Commandant of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, he had a command of the Infantry Division in South Waziristan and after that General Nadeem Raza was appointed as Corps Commander Rawalpindi in December 2016.
General Nadeem Raza was serving as Chief of General Staff in the GHQ since August 2018 and has three sons and one daughter.
