Prophet Muhammad’s character is a role model to lead a successful life: PM
An International Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (Peace Be upon Him) Conference is being held in Islamabad on Sunday under the auspices of Ministry of Religious Affairs to observe 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Addressing the conference, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the best role model is the personality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in order to become a great person.
The opening session of the conference is being chaired by PM Imran.
He said it is a miracle that two superpowers of that time surrendered to state of Madina just six years after the death of Prophet (PBUH).
PM said the personality and character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a role model for the youth to emulate in order to lead a successful life.
He said that our government will bring reforms in education system to teach children how the Holy Prophet (PBUH) transformed a tribal society into a great nation.
Imran Khan emphasized that we need to understand that what were the reasons of Muslims’ rise and fall in history.
He added that one virtue of Muslims that inspired others to embrace Islam was speaking truth.
The high moral values and character distinguishes a Muslim from followers of other religion, said PM Imran.
The PM also urged the Ulema to guide the government in transforming the country on the basis of Islamic principles.
The event is being attended by religious personalities and scholars, and people from various walks of life.
A large number of scholars from other Islamic countries are also attending the conference.
