Queen Maxima appreciates Pakistani efforts for women empowerment

Queen of Netherland Maxima appreciates the efforts of Pakistan for illiterate sections, especially in relation to women’s financing, and she praised the efforts, the Queen expressed her views in a meeting with President Arif Alawi.

President Arif Alvi meets with Queen Maxima, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Queen of Netherlands.

During the meeting, the President lauded the efforts of Queen Maxima for the financial support of the marginalized and said that Pakistan has made significant progress in financing.

The President said, the steps taken by this visit will have a positive impact.

On the other hand, the President also informed Queen Maxima of the steps taken under the National Financial Inclusion Strategy to further promote financial support in the country, especially women’s financial support, by 2023.

Queen Maxima informed the President about her engagement in Islamabad, while the President said that Pakistan considers financial support as an effective means to achieve the goals of sustainable development.

She also praised the efforts made by Queen Maxima in relation to the finances of Pakistan’s illiterate classes, especially women.
