Sindh government has lifted on issuance of arms licenses across the province.
According to the details, the Interior Department of Sindh lifted the ban on the issuance of arms licenses in Sindh and a regular notification has also been issued.
The Sindh Home Department said that a computerized licenses of non-prohibited bore will be issued after completion of all formalities and the arms licenses will be issued under Sindh Arms Licenses Act.
According to the Interior Department, the certain number of arms licenses will be issued as per quota every month.
It should be noted that the issuance of new arms licenses has been banned across Sindh in September 2013, in the wake of the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and other parts of the province.
On the other hand, the surprising revelations came out about how much strong the peaceful political leaders are on the strength of arms.
According to the report, the PPP, which claims to raise the most public issues, is at the forefront of keeping the arms.
The 100 members of parliament showed arms as their assets, of which 50 belonged to the PPP. Thus the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is the largest political party in the parliament which owns arms.
Apart from the Pakistan People’s Party, 20 lawmakers who have shown arms in their assets belong to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), 5 belong to the PML-N, 5 to the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and 4 to the Balochistan Awami Party.
