Azerbaijan Ambassador Ali Zada has met with Minister for Tourism Atif Khan in Peshawar, today.
At the meeting, both agreed to work together in tourism, culture, archeological sports and youth development.
The meeting also agreed to provide special training to tourism officials in Azerbaijan.
They also agreed to launch Youth Exchange programs to increase connectivity between the youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Atif Khan said that Azerbaijan is one of the emerging countries in terms of tourism. The development of the tourism sector in Pakistan will benefit from the experiences of Azarbaijan.
He said that there are 6000 archaeological sites in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and for keeping them safe, Rs. 1 billion have been allocated.
