Azadi march was largest political sit in
Maulana Fazl Ur Rehman, Chief of Jamiat Ulma e Islam said, we set up the biggest political sitting of the country’s history.
According to the details, Maulana Fazl Ur Rehman spoke to media and told that Chaudhry Brothers of gujranwala had been visiting us during the sit-in, they still come with goodwill gesture, but the government is against it.
Maulana Fazl claimed, we set up the biggest sit-in of Pakistan’s history.We are still in the protest, he added.
Representatives of public should take the decisions for the public, we want the country to move forward democratically, Fazl Ur Rehman added
During this presser Chaudhary Shujat Hussain said, this was the first time when Maulvis protested without any violation.

He also said, this rally cleared that Maulana is the only opposition leader and JUI-F is the only opposition party who have a peaceful sit-in and they do the cleaning themselves during the Azadi March, Chaudhary Shujat said.
Earlier, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that D Chowk is not our destination, we will now take control of the government.
He was addressing the participants of the Azadi March in Islamabad, and said that writ of the incumbent government has ended and now “we will run the country”.
He supported the demand of Rehbar Committee regarding Prime Minister Imran Khan’s resignation, and told the PTI-led ruling regime to step down calling the premier ‘unconstitutional and fake’.
Maulana Fazl refuted the government’s claims saying that all the roads to dialogue are blocked, and they will now take more ground decisions until they get rid of the incumbent government.
