National assembly speaker Asad Qaisar has said that agriculture is the backbone of the economy, this department can be prospered under government patronage.
According to details, Asad Qaisar had a meeting with chief minister Punjab Usman Buzdar in Islamabad. They discussed the overall economic and political situation of the country as well as other matters of mutual interests.
Speaker Asad Qaisar informed about legislation in the national assembly and other matters. He said that a parliamentary committee has been made the first time in Pakistan’s history to solve problems being faced in the agriculture department. This committee is doing an active role in solving the issues of people working in the agriculture department.
Asad Qaisar has also said that this committee is compiling recommendations after consulting with all stakeholders for the development of agriculture in the country.
He added that harmony between all the provinces and the federal government is necessary for the country’s development and welfare.
Chief Minister of Punjab has informed the speaker about the ongoing development activities in the province. He also said that the Punjab government is taking steps on a priority basis for the development of projects of public importance, especially agriculture.
Usman Buzdar also praised Speaker Asad Qaisar for keeping the environment of the House peaceful. He also expressed his hope that the present national assembly, under his guardianship, has maintained the record to solve issues faced by people.
