Shaheed-e-Millat Road under pass and Tariq Road traffic light intersection has been inaugurated today, here on Saturday.

According to the details, Peoples party Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated the project along with several other development projects in Karachi.

It will help people commuting from university road to Korangi Hino Chorangi, as it become a signal free corridor and save citizens from getting stuck traffic. Cost of the project is 1.22 billion rupees.

Bilawal inaugurated Shaheed-e-Millat-Tariq Road Underpass, Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Flyover, Tipu Sultan Road, Submarine Underpass, Sunset Boulevard Flyover, Korangi 12000 Road and Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi Road (Stadium Road).

The Sindh government began the construction of underpasses on the intersection of Tariq Road and Hill Park at Shaheed-e-Millat Road.

The track leading to the Tipu Sultan Flyover from Jail Chowrangi will be closed for traffic and an alternative route for commuters has been arranged.

Three lane road has been constructed on the service road decreasing the green belt’s width. A traffic diversion plan is also being developed for the construction of an underpass on the other track.

Bilawal Bhutto said in his inauguration speech that Sindh government is striving to empower poor and middle class.

Workers were looking for millions of job in Naya Pakistan but they are also loosing what they have.
