Change of guards ceremony was held today to honor the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Change of guards ceremony was held today at the tomb of Quaid-e-Azam to commemorate Mr. Jinnah’s 144th birthday.

Cadets from Pakistan Military Academy assumed responsibilities of guards from Pakistan Air Force (PAF) cadets.

Quaid-e-Azam ‘s birth anniversary is being observed

Major General Muhammad Ali and the chief guest of the ceremony, honored Quaid-e-Azam.

His expression was also recorded in the visitors’ book.

President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have expressed their thoughts in separate messages to pay tribute to Mr. Jinnah.

The ceremony was started with Quran Khuwani at the tomb. Several seminars, exhibitions, debating events and other such activities are going to be organized today at both official and unofficial levels.

President Arif Alvi has said, “Today marks as a special day in the history of our homeland. For today, we witnessed the birth of a great leader, a leader who changed the geography of this continent and gave us our Motherland, our very own Pakistan.”

Apart from that, PM Imran Khan expressed his thoughts, “The Quaid personified impeccable integrity, exemplary, character, selflessness, and devotion to the cause of an independent homeland for the Muslims. His Charisma inspired the Muslims of South Asia during the distressful times and circumstances.”
