Money laundering prevention is significant part of govt’s agenda: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that prevention of money laundering is an important part of the government’s agenda.

According to details, the newly appointed Director General Federal Investigation Agency Wajid Zia met with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that eliminating white collar crimes like corruption, cybercrime, economic crimes and money laundering was the agenda of the PTI government.

Speaking on the occasion, DGFIA Wajid Zia said that I will endeavor to provide better services for the country.

Assistant Special Assistant Accountability Shahzad Akbar also attended the meeting with DGFIA Wajid Zia.

It should be remembered that before the Prime Minister’s visit to Punjab, significant changes were made in the federal and Punjab bureaucracy.

According to the details, IG Railway Wajid Zia has been appointed as DGFIA, while Mushtaq Mahar of the Police Service was promoted to grade 22 and become IG Railway.

Mohammad Ali Shehzada was promoted to Grade 22, and appointed the Special Secretary Establishment Division. Acting Secretary National Health Services Allah Baksh Malik was appointed as Federal Secretary Health.

Major (R) Azam Salman was appointed as the Chief Secretary Punjab while Shaukat Ali was appointed the Additional Chief Secretary.

Captain Asad Ali Khan was appointed as Secretary C&W and Amjad Ali Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab while Additional Secretary Food Muhammad Ayub Chaudhry was appointed as Additional Secretary Petroleum.

Additional Secretary Information Technology Jawad Pal has been appointed as Prime Minister’s Office while Additional Secretary Prime Minister Office Muhammad while Ali Shahzada has been appointed as Special Secretary Establishment Division after development in Grade 22.
