President stresses the need for quality education to uplift the country

President Arif Alvi has urged the universities to impart education to youth keeping in view the demand of market and industries.

He was addressing an international conference on Assurance Quality in Islamabad on Wednesday

He said our universities should look at cooperation with the industries in order to produce a market oriented workforce as is the case in other countries.

President said there is also need to develop a mechanism that ensures effective evaluation of students as well as the faculty.

He said the capacity of teachers should be built keeping in view the latest technology.
