Chief Justice Lahore High Court while addressing on Monday said its our utmost priority to provide all the facilities to the judges, lawyers and applicants.
Chief Justice Mamoon ur Rasheed was addressing an opening session in Lahore High Court.
He said we lack in resources. There are no adequate funds for new judicial complexes and other facilities.
Chief Justice Lahore High Court said We have asked the government to provide funds for the best infrastructure.
“Our judges are doing their best in limited resources.”
He said We thank Punjab Judicial Academy for providing contemporary training to our judges.
“All our efforts are for the common good If we cannot provide relief to the masses, then all our hard work is failure.”
“Our system does not have the slightest possibility of error.”
“He further said Hopefully, the judges will have the best opportunities to learn at the Academy.”
Mamoon Rashid Sheikh took oath as the 51st Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar administered the oath to the chief justice-designate at a ceremony at the Governor House.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, high court judges, government officials and representatives of lawyers’ bodies present on the occasion.
Moreover, He will work for just two months and 18 days in the office of the chief justice.
Justice Qasim Khan will be the top judge of the LHC after the retirement of Justice Mamnoon Sheikh on March 18, 2020.
However, He will serve for one year and four months in the office.
Mamoon Rashid Sheikh born 19 March 1958) is a Pakistani jurist who has been Justice of Lahore High Court since 19 February 2010.
