Coronavirus: PRCS to setup quick response units in all provinces

Pakistan Red Crescent Society Chairman Ibrar ul Haq has announced to establish quick response units at all provincial centers of PRCS to help avert any possible spread of the corona virus.

According to the details, while addressing a news conference he said outbreak of the virus in neighboring China demanded proper arrangement to meet challenges associated with the ailment.

Ibrar ul Haq said equal attention is being paid towards public awareness against the ailment.

Earlier Pakistan foreign office stated that regular contact and updates being sought from Chinese authorities and Pakistan Embassy in China is reaching out extensively to all Pakistani students and nationals.

Foreign office spokesperson Aisha Faooqui tweeted that Chinese universities have ensured free meals to all students and regular monitoring of students’ health.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has also said that not a single Pakistani in China has been infected with coronavirus.

In a statement issued from Islamabad, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that we are in constant contact with our embassy in Beijing to get latest details.

He asked the Pakistani community in China not to worry as all precautionary measures taken.

FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi asked the non-registered Pakistani students to get register with Embassy.
