Ex-Afghan president Hamid Karzai meets Nawaz Sharif in London

Former Afghanistan president Hamid Karzai has met former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif at his Avenfield apartments in London.

According to detail, Hamid Karzai was received by two sons of the former Prime Minister Hassan and Hussain Nawaz upon his arrival at their swanky British address.

During the meeting, Hamid Karzai said he visited the three-time Pakistani premier to inquire after his health. “It’s good to see him in good health,” said the former Afghan president, who was accompanied by PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif at the presser.

Hamid Karzaid expressed that the PML-N supremo is his great friend and he went to inquire about his health condition.He added that Nawaz Sharif has always hosted him in best manners during his visits to Pakistan.

Nawaz thanked Karzai for visiting him to inquire about his health, party sources said. Shehbaz too took to Twitter to thank Karzai.

“I have always maintained that our sorrows and happiness are shared and the future of Pakistan & Afghanistan is interwoven, challenges notwithstanding,” he wrote.
