Islamabad: Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan chairs the high level meeting today (January 16).
A statement regarding the meeting has been issued, according to which Army Chief General Bajwa, Assistant Special Maid Yusuf, DG ISI are participating in the meeting while Foreign Secretary and senior military and civil authorities were also present.
According to a statement issued, the meeting reviewed the situation in occupied Kashmir while Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the meeting and said that Pakistan would continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris.

According to the statement, the participants of the meeting said that the Indian government is against the Muslims and Kashmiris because the RSS-affected Indian government.
In a statement, Kashmir Day on February 5 has been decided to celebrate vigorously.
PM said in his tweet that “Pakistan welcomes UN Security Council discussing the situation in Jammu & Kashmir again. An internationally recognized dispute, J&K remains on the Security Council’s agenda & its consideration by the Council reflects a recognition of the seriousness of the prevailing situation.”
He also said, “J&K dispute must be resolved in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions & the will of the Kashmiri people. We will continue to provide moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people until they secure their inalienable right to self-determination.”

Prime Minister Imran Khan calls on COAS, Discusses National Security
Earlier on today, Prime Minister Imran Khan summoned a meeting to review measures taken to control inflation of basic commodities which will be attended by chief ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab.
The meeting will held in PM House where the provincial officials will brief the participants regarding the steps taken to control inflation.
It will also monitor the formulation of different application rates, sources said.
The participants will review the performance of the task force formed to control prices of basic commodities.
