Daughter of President Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump meets Prime Minister Imran Khan on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2020 summit.
In an informal meeting, Ivanka Trump and PM Imran discussed education and training programs to empower Pakistani women.
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari was also present in the meeting.
This is the first time that the Prime Minister Imran Khan met President Trump’s daughter.
Earlier, World Economic Forum Executive Chairman Dr. Klaus Schwab had called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on the sides of WEF summit.
Talking to the executive chairman, PM Imran had expressed the desire that WEF can partner with Pakistan on important social welfare initiatives for poverty alleviation and education.
He had maintained that the issues being highlighted by WEF this year are also relevant to Pakistan.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed Davos where he highlighted Pakistan’s economic vision in front of world leaders.
PM Imran met with other dignitaries with whom he discussed various business and digitization strategies.
Moreover, PM Imran Khan called on President of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Ms. Kristalina Georgieva in Davos.
According to the details, the premiere had an important meeting with the President of IMF in Switzerland on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2020.
Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Special Assistant to PM Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Ambassador at Large on Investments Ali Jehangir Siddiqui, Governor State Bank of Pakistan Raza Baqir were also present.
Both Personages discussed the financial conditions of Pakistan and the sector of mutual interests between the country and the organization.
