Two or three women members are likely to be included in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet.

According to sources, the decision had made to include women members in the KP cabinet.

The women members will also have portfolios of  adviser and minister.

A female legislator from the newly-merged tribal areas also among the members who will include in the provincial cabinet.

Sources added that Maliha Akbar, Ayesha Bano, Aisha Naeem, Momina Basit and Anita Mehsud have been named for their inclusion.

Some prominent persons of the ruling political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), make efforts for the inclusion of the women members.

However, the number of new members yet to announce, sources said.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had made major reshuffling in the provincial cabinet on January 4.

Earlier, it emerged that CM KP Mehmood Khan is not happy with the behaviour of the majority of the members and change in the provincial cabinet is on the cards.

As per the notification, nine special assistants and two new ministers have been inducted in the provincial cabinet of KP.

Shahram Khan Tarakai appointed Health minister, Hasham Inamullah, social welfare, Akbar Ayub, Elementary and Secondary Education.

While, Dr. Amjad Ali has given the portfolio of Minerals and Mines minister.

Earlier, Nanbais shutter down strike in Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa entered in second consecutive day on Tuesday after talks with government failed.

As per details, Nanbais shutter down strike in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continued for two days.

The Nanbai Association protesting against the rise of flour prices and suspension of wheat supply from Punjab.

The association said that flour prices increased tremendously while flour not coming from Punjab.

Therefore, not possible to sell Loave (Nan) at previous rates.

The association said that strike would continue until a new rate list issued.
