Drawing attention to India’s “aggressive intent” towards Pakistan at the United Nations, Munir Akram urged the world body to act “decisively” to prevent a war between the two countries and to enable the Kashmiri people to exercise their UN-pledged right to self-determination for peace and stability in South Asia.

Taking part in a debate at Security Council, he said Pakistan seeks to build a new structure of sustainable peace with its neighbours.
