Prime Minister Imran Khan showed deep condolences over the tragic earthquake happened in Turkey yesterday.

Prime Minister is deeply saddened over the loss and has also prayed for the victims.

In a recent tweet, PM Imran Khan said, “Deeply saddened by the loss of so many precious lives and of hundreds injured in Turkey’s earthquake. Our thoughts and prayers are with the brotherly people and government of Turkey. Pakistan stands by them and is ready to lend any assistance in this hour of need.”

Apart from that, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has also shown grief over the huge destruction caused by the earthquake. He showed condolences with the people of Turkey. He prayed for the deceased and speedy recovery of injured ones.

Note that a powerful earthquake hit Turkey yesterday due to which several buildings have collapsed and multiple injuries reported.

According to the details, massive tremors of 6.8 magnitudes hit Turkey on Friday in which several buildings collapsed and there are fears of People still be trapped under the rubble.

Aid workers have reached the scene.

Earthquake tremors also felt in several parts of Syria and in Lebanon, in the cities of Beirut and Tripoli.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said the earthquake measured 6.9 and struck eastern Turkey. A strong earthquake is between 6 and 6.0 on the Richter scale.
