Prime Minister Imran Khan summoned a meeting to review measures taken to control inflation of basic commodities which will be attended by chief ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab.
The meeting will held in PM House where the provincial officials will brief the participants regarding the steps taken to control inflation.
It will also monitor the formulation of different application rates, sources said.
The participants will review the performance of the task force formed to control prices of basic commodities.
The meeting earlier scheduled on January 13.
It postponed as the premier chaired a meeting of the government’s media strategy committee at PM House.
Moreover, Prime Minister Imran Khan will also chair a meeting of media spokespersons at PM House today at 4:00 pm.
He will review the media strategy and government’s rhetoric.
The meeting will discuss the latest situation of the region and the political scenario of the country.
During the meeting, guidelines over important legal and constitutional matters will give to spokespersons.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Azad Kashmir (AJK) and inquired about the health of land sliding and snow-hit victims at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Muzaffarabad.

The premier along reviewed the relief activities in the snow-hit areas.
He was accompanied by Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur.
According to sources, PM Imran Khan visited AJK snow-hit areas to personally monitor the relief work.
