A fire broke out at a railway warehouse near Wazirabad in Gujranwala district in early hours here on Sunday.
According to fire officials, at least 10 fire tenders are at the railway scene, struggling to douse the raging flames.
They said they have called in more fire engines to contain the blaze which is spreading further with winds fanning the flames.
The officials said water shortage has compounded the situation.
Fire brigade’s seven units are busy in extinguishing the fire.
No loss of human lives has been reported yet.

According to the details, dozens have reportedly wounded, whereas, 71 had confirmed dead after 3 bogies of Tezgam train caught fire near Liaquatpur.
Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid blamed the passengers for bringing stoves into the train.

They boiled eggs on the gas stove to have breakfast when it exploded with a huge blast.
Aijaz Ahmad, CEO Pakistan Railways said that the incident occurred after the gas cylinder exploded.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in Tezgam fire incident in Rahim Yar Khan.
In his message he tendered his condolences towards the families whose loved ones died in the mishap.
