Shehryar Afridi must be called before the court, Rana Sanaullah

Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has not charged with drug smuggling case in the court today. The hearing has been postponed till 8th February.

Special anti-drug court judge Shakir Hassan heard the case. Rana’s lawyer Farhad Ali Shah asked federal minister Shehryar Afridi to provide CCTV or other footage to ANF officials.

Rana Sanaullah talked to media outside the court in Lahore.

Rana Sanaullah said that political revenge is being taken from him, the government has filed a fake case under political revenge.

“Government create issues to divert attention from the actual problems, fake and baseless cases are made to end the opposition.”

Furthermore, he also demanded that Shehryar Afridi and DG ANF must be called before the court. He continued that Shehryar Afridi must show the video to the court about which he had discussed before.

He added that Shehryar Afridi says that a person was arrested from Faisalabad and was told to be involved with Rana Sanaullah. He said that the person must be brought before the court.

He also said that it is the responsibility of the government to inquire about the matter.

Farhad Ali Shah said that only Challan consisting of two pages was submitted that is not enough.

Earlier, Rana Sanaullah had said that the sooner the PTI leaves the nation, the better it is for the country.
