Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Sunday expressed his grief on the sad demise of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeem-ul-Haq.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations, the COAS prayed for the deceased and his family.
“May Allah bless the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family, Aameen,” COAS said.
On Saturday night, The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government announced to observe three-day mourning across the country over the sad demise of its founding member, Naeem-ul-Haq.
A senior leader of PTI told that the party’s all political activities will remain suspended during the three days of mourning.
He said that his death was a great loss to the party and the country.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed deep grief at the passing of his oldest friends and political party member.
PM Imran Khan had said that he was one of the founding members of PTI and was by far the most loyal of its members.
Moreover, PM Imran Khan had hailed Haq’s contributions to the party for the past 23 years.
However, he paid rich tribute to the services Haq rendered for it and Pakistan.
