ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that Indian forces have committed war crimes against women in IOJK for 7 years.

According to the details, PM Imran Khan tweeten on ‘Kashmiri Women’s Resistance Day’  and said, “Today is Kashmir Women Resistance Day. For 7 decades, Indian forces have committed war crimes against women in IOJK. Their sufferings have multiplied after 5 Aug siege by Modi Govt. I urge world community, esp women, to become voice of resilient Kashmiri women for peace in IOJK.”

In a tweet, he also said today is the Kashmir Women Resistance Day and for seven decades, Indian forces have committed war crimes against women in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said their sufferings have multiplied after fifth August siege by the government of Modi.

Women’s Resistance Day: Firdous Ashiq pays tribute to Kashmiri women

Earlier today, SAPM on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday paid tribute to the Kashmiri women for their sacrifices on Kashmiri Women’s Resistance Day.

February 23, is commemorated as Kashmiri Women’s Resistance Day.

This day inspired by the struggles of the survivors of mass rape and torture in the twin villages of Kunan and Poshpora in Occupied Kashmir.

The three-decades-long struggle of the survivors from Kunan and Poshpora is a part of the larger on-going struggle in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, against the institutionalized and structural violence of the Indian state in the region.
