Another man set himself on fire in Orangi Town, Karachi, due to unemployment and domestic conflicts.

According to rescue sources, a man died after lighting himself on fire in a house near Haidar Al Falah Marriage Hall in Orangi Town, Karachi.

Police said that the victim was identified as Shahid Khan, while the body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Police also stated that further investigations were being carried out in connection with the incident after the investigation an action would be taken.

Talking to the media, Shahid’s brother Rashid, said that his brother Shahid was a rickshaw driver, and due to the family conflicts his brother had committed suicide.

Brother Rashid also said that due to debts and unemployment, there were clashes in the house due to which he had set himself on fire this afternoon.

Shahid’s brother Rashid added that my brother was in debt of Rs 30 to 35,000 and was worried for several days. Police have taken a preliminary statement.

Earlier last month, an unemployed man died  after setting himself in Karachi

A man named Mir Hassan was brought to the burns infirmary of the medical facility in critical condition as 60 percent of his body had been burnt.

He died to his burn injuries today, according to doctors at the hospital.

Man was unable to provide warm clothes to for his children who had asked him for stave off the cold wave, due to which he had set himself on fire.
