ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Friday that Pakistan desired enhanced relations with Japan in diverse fields with particular focus on infrastructural development.
According to the details, The prime minister expressed these views in a meeting with President Shinichi Kitaoka, who is Pakistan on a four-day visit.
A briefing was given on JICA’s ongoing projects in Pakistan, which was appreciated by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier today, Prime Minister PM Imran Khan inaugurates Ehsaas Amdan Programme in Layyah.
While Addressing the ceremony, PM Imran Khan said the program is initiated to improve living standards of poor people in Pakistan.
Premier said 80,000 people will be getting interest-free loan every month. Six million families will be facilitated with health cards while 50,000 scholarships will be given to the deserving people, he continued.
PM Imran pledged to provide efficient lawyers to the poverty-stricken masses for speedy conclusion of their cases. We are also focusing on enhancing the education system in the country with advanced policies, he stated.
The premier told that 180 shelter homes have been established across the country so far.
The Ehsaas Amdan Programme of 15 billion rupees is aimed at creating respectable livelihood opportunities for those who are the most disadvantaged.
