Pakistan Navy’s exercise “Sea Spark 2020” has commenced in Karachi with an objective to evaluate war preparedness and practical planning of the force.
According to the Director General Public Relations (DGPR) Navy Rear Admiral M Arshid Javed, the naval drill Sea Spark 2020 demonstrates Pakistan Navy’s commitment to promoting sustainable stability and safe maritime environment in the region.
The Pakistan Army and Air Force personnel were also participating in the exercise, a Pakistan Navy press release said.
Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was the chief guest at the inauguration of the drill.

During the exercise, the participants were briefed on the objectives and strategy of the exercise whereas the force commanders presented their plans.
In addition, representatives from the Ministry of Defense, Interior and other federal ministries also took part in the exercise.

Earlier, the concluding ceremony of 3rd Pakistan Navy International Nautical Competition 2020 held in Karachi on Friday 7 February.
As per details, Spokesperson Navy said Closing ceremony of 3rd PN Intl Nautical Competition (INC) held at PNA, Karachi.
However Six International teams participated in competition.
Spokesperson Navy said Turkish Naval Academy won the competition with 05 Gold medals.
Furthermore Chief Guest, COMKAR R/Adm Zahid Ilyas gave away prizes to the winning & runner up teams.
