Frankfurt: Pakistani handicraft got attention in the international exhibition at the city of Germany.
According to the details, Heimtextil is celebrating its 50th anniversary from 7th – 10th January 2020 in Frankfurt, Germany. Around 3,000 exhibitors, including 220 Pakistani manufactures, would participate in the four-day fair.
Pakistan was the 4th largest international exhibitor at Heimtextil and the 5th largest international visitor country in 2019.
Over 4,500 exhibitors from 92 countries while over 136,000 buyers have joined the exhibition Ambiente, Frankfurt 2020, says a press release received here on Tuesday.
Pakistan has been participating in Ambiente for many years and a number of industries have developed from this fair such as cutlery, crockery and salt products.
The companies who represented Pakistan at Ambiente 2020 include Clayworks, CC factories, Pakistan Souvenirs, Tariq Glass and Sharp Edge
Total 05 exhibitors exhibited with the products covering interior decoration items, handicrafts, kitchen accessories and other consumer products.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Pakistan Souvenirs Ishtiaq Ali said that we had a very good time in the entire exhibition.
He also said, he next Ambiente will be held in 2021 and also held in India in March 2020.
“Three students who won the design contest were provided with airline tickets and hotel stay to visit Heimtextil. Since then, it’s an annual event which has resulted in over 100 young designers attending Heimtextil on a yearly basis. These young designers then start to work in the Pakistani industry which helps our exhibitors learn about design and trend. This year, three students of Indus Valley have won the ‘New and Next’ student competition and they have been given opportunity to present their work at Heimtextil 2020,” the statement issued by Messe Frankfurt SP Pakistan read.
