PM attends ceremony over Pak response to Indian aggression on Feb 26, 2019

A ceremony held in Islamabad, to commemorate the first anniversary of Pakistan’s Responsible and Resolute Response to Indian Aggression of 26th February 2019.

According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan attended the ceremony as a chief guest.

while addressing the event Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the world community to take notice of Hindutva ideology of India that is based on hatred and racial superiority against minorities.

He said the RSS ideology of incumbent Indian government takes inspiration from Nazi ideals of racist superiority and hate for followers of other religions.

He said more than eight million Kashmiris are virtual hostage with communication blockade and essential freedoms compromised.

The Prime Minister said a racist, fascist and totalitarian ideology has been adopted by Indian government which is leading to violence and bloodshed.

He said the prevailing environment in India is echoing the same situation where hate is being spread against all minorities in that country, leading to communal violence.

Imran Khan said 200 million Muslims are being targeted in India due to policies based on hate.

He expressed fear that the situation will only get worse in India if not checked in time.

Referring to Indian aggression on 26th February last year, the Prime Minister said he feels pride on the way Pakistani nation came out of that crisis.

He said the reason for not aggravating of the situation at that time must be attributed to maturity of Pakistani nation.

The Prime Minister said our armed forces were fully prepared to meet any aggression, but Pakistan side exercised restraint after realizing that there were no casualties in the Indian bombing.

Imran Khan appreciated the response of whole nation, including politicians and media in that crisis.

He said we are proud of our armed forces in their ability to defend the frontiers of the country.

He said our armed forces are battle hardened and they have defeated the menace of terrorism successfully, which has boosted their morale and confidence.

on 26th February 2019 India violated Pakistani airspace and conducted air strike inside Pakistan’ territory.

on February 27 2019, PAF launched a successful counter-attack and downed two enemy aircrafts in broad daylight.

Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman had arrested in this encounter.

He flew a MiG-21 as a part of a sortie that scrambled to intercept an intrusion by Pakistan aircraft into Jammu and Kashmir.

In the dogfight that ensued, he crossed into Pakistan territory where he strucked by a missile.

Varthaman ejected and descended safely in the village of Horran in Pakistan administered Kashmir, approximately 7 km from the Line of Control.

Earlier in 2019, India had claimed that Abhinandan had fired a missile before hunted by the Pakistani pilots.

But the false claim exposed with presence of all Indian missiles.

It was an unexpected setback for India exposing the country’s claims of invincibility and supremacy in the military power.
