Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has announced the special flights to bring Pakistanis back from United Arab Emirates (UAE), This decision was made to help stranded Pakistanis at Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports.

According to the details, The federal government has allowed to operate a special flight from the United Arab Emirates to Islamabad.

The official twitter of PCAA said, “In order to facilitate the stranded pax at Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports, GoP has decided to allow operation of one flight by Fly Dubai to Isb. It will be a special flight to Isb with about 150 pax on board. Flight is expected to arrive at IIAP at 0010 hours on 24th March 2020.”

PCAA also announced the special flights from Doha, “In order to facilitate the stranded pax at Doha airport, Qatar Airways will operate a special flight to Isb with 72 Pakistani pax on board. Flight is expected to arrive at IIAP at 0140 hours on 24th March. The pax will be subject to strict health screening as advised by the MoH.”

PIA shuts international flights till March 28, to suffer major financial loss now

Earlier on March 21, The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended its international flight operations amid increasing threat of coronavirus.

The international flight operation will remain suspended from March 22 till March 28.

However, domestic flights will continue as per schedule.

The flight operation across the globe had suspended as a precautionary measure to control over the pandemic.
