Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has said that over thirteen hundred billion rupees will be spent in the tribal districts under ten-year developmental plan.
Addressing a tribal Jirga in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said committees of elected representatives have already been constituted to identify projects in the tribal districts.
The Chief Minister said one billion rupees will be given to youth in every tribal district to start their own businesses.
Earlier this week, CM KP launched spring tree plantation campaign in Peshawar.
Speaking on this occasion, he asked all the members of society to contribute in the green and clean Pakistan campaign.
Students of different educational institutes also planted saplings on this occasion.
Mahmood Khan is also promoting tourism in the province in this regards several places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are being promoted for tourism.
CM KP stated that the tourism sector will flourish under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minster Imran Khan.
Minister for Power Division Omar Ayub Khan said the government has normalized the country’s situation and it invited the people from around the world to come and witness the scenic beauty of Pakistan.
He said now Pakistan is being declared as the most conducive destination for tourism due to the significant steps taken by the government. He said the Khanpur Dam is also an attractive place for the tourists.
