Sepoy Wajid Ali embraces martyrdom in Indian ceasefire violation

A 20 years old Pakistan Army soldier Wajid Ali martyred  in the Indian ceasefire in the Shahkot Sector along the Line of Control (LoC), the military media wing stated.

According to Inter Service Public Relations, the Indian army resorted to unprovoked firing with heavy weapons in Shahkot sector along LoC.

Pakistan Army gave befitting reply and target Indian posts which initiated fire, inflicted heavy losses on enemy in terms of men and material, ISPR added.

Earlier, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) warned India for committing any misadventure in the region.

While addressing the press conference last month, DG ISPR said India should keep in mind February 27 before becoming involved in any aggression against Pakistan.

He said India is sowing seeds of new conflict with its actions in Occupied Kashmir.

“After the Pulwama incident, India blamed Pakistan. We offered all cooperation,” said DG Iftikhar in his first press conference after taking charge of the army’s media wing this month.

“But on Feb 26, they carried out a cowardly attack.”

“We were prepared, the surprise they wanted to give to us, we gave them one instead and they retreated.”

Speaking on violations carried out by India across the Line of Control, he said during the past year, there have been “384 violations”. “They do not spare children on their way to school.”

“The most ceasefire violations were recorded in 2019.

“The Pakistan Army is a responsible force; when we are provoked we respond on military targets, while the Indian forces target civilians.

“If there is a war in the region, there will be far reaching consequences,” he warned.

He also said Don’t Test our patience and capability, Pakistani forces are ready to answer every aggression if made by Indian Side.

No space for war between India & Pakistan, he said.
